Q. How do I get books sent from another library to my home library?

How do I get books sent from another library to my home library?

I had read on the library booklet that I can ask for a book to be deliver to the college that is more convenient for us.

How can I do this?

Answer

Go to libsearch.arts.ac.uk and search the library catalogue to find the item that you want to borrow.

Once you have found the item and clicked on that record you will be able to 'Place a reservation' (this is on the left of the webpage).

A pop up notice will appear, please read carefully (if the item is at the collection library it is quicker to just get it off the shelf yourself as reservations can take 48 hours to process).

Once you have clicked the 'Continue' button you will be presented with the reservation page.

Select the library you want the pickup location and 'confirm the reservation'.
