Some of our main online journal collections have an inbuilt read aloud function, for instance  

• In ProQuest Central you can use the virtual player to listen to articles, or download them in mp3 format 
• Taylor & Francis and Ebscohost have virtual players to read the whole article, or you can download an mp3 file. You can also highlight sections of the text you want to listen to, and there is a translation and dictionary function.      
• You can also use Text to Speech software and Screen readers with most of our electronic collections. Check out the UAL Assistive technology pages.
