The way you can access databases is through our list of subscriptions, via the Library Search catalogue, then click on the link to 'Database A-Z' list (green tab on your right).
Then click on 'E' and scroll down to Emerald.
When you click on a database you will be guided through a ual login portal, where you would use your ual IT login details.
You'll need to go this route each time you wish to access this resource as you'll need to go via the ual login portal for access.
Additional info about Emerald access
Not all resources on Emerald are subscribed to by UAL. Once logged in, you will be able to find a list of journals and books we subscribe to under the 'journals and books' tab.
Likewise, individual articles and chapters you search for indicate if they have full text available by displaying a green square next to each entry.
If we do not subscribe to an article or chapter, the page will say 'sorry, you do not have full text to this article'. If you need a specific article or chapter for your research that you cannot find on Emerald, please look on our A-Z list of e-journals, or on our library catalogue for e-books.
