Question

How can I access a journal on EBSCO?

I am trying to access a journal on EBSCO for my dissertation. It says that UAL participates but I can't seem to log on using my student ID? How do you recommend I proceed?

You may have issues logging into EBSCO if you are not accessing it through the UAL library website, as you need to go through a UAL login portal to access content.

Connect via our webpages so that your UAL membership can be authenticated. Here is a guide on how to access e-resources:

You can either use the journal A-Z, or use our databases A-Z list.

Journal A-Z: search for the journal title that you are interested in an click on the subscription of your choice. You will be prompted to login with your username and password.

Databases A-Z: You can also use the databases a-z list if you know the name of the resource you want. In this case, look under EBSCOhost. Again, click on the resource and you will be prompted to login before accessing the database.

You can also browse our subscriptions. Resources are listed alphabetically and include descriptions.
