LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform, providing access to over 13,000 high quality video-based courses, supporting creative practice, business skills and technologies.
You can access LinkedIn Learning via the Database A-Z List, which is linked to in the right-hand panel in Library Search.
You will also find links to LinkedIn Learning in the top menu bar of Moodle and in the Software Training and Tutorials section of Academic Support Online.

Using the LinkedIn Learning Library
Once you have logged into LinkedIn Learning, using your UAL username and password, you can use the search bar on the home page to find courses, video titles, tags and course transcripts.
You can search for relevant content, from a single 5 minute video to a complete 10 hour course.
If you follow an entire course through to the end, you can generate a certificate of completion as evidence of your personal achievement.
Alternatively, browse through the content by selecting the 'Browse' icon (in the top left area of your screen) and identifying content by its topic or software.
The LinkedIn Learning library allows learners to browse for learning paths, courses, videos, collections, and custom content.
You can use the Learning library to find Learning content in an area of your choice, without searching for specific keywords.
Click on one of the following sections:
- Business
- Creative
- Technology
- UAL - Students and Staff
You can browse for content under the business, creative, and technology sections based on subjects, software, and learning paths.
However, in the 'UAL - Students and Staff' section, you can browse based on tags, skills, and custom content.
Please note: If you have a personal LinkedIn account, you do not need to connect this to your LinkedIn Learning account. However, if you do choose to link your account, the personal data in your LinkedIn account will remain completely private.
